Balled Pet Bottles

ACARP’s mission to transform plastic waste into valuable resources shines through in their innovative PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) baling process. This sustainable approach rescues PET from landfills, giving it a new life as a key material in eco-friendly textiles.

PET COLLECTION AND SORTING

Used PET bottles and other items are collected from various sources, including households, recycling centers, and businesses. At the ACARP facility, the collected PET undergoes rigorous sorting.

BALING

Washed plastic is shredded into smaller pieces using advanced machinery, facilitating further processing.
The size reduction optimizes surface area for subsequent steps and improves material consistency.

QUALITY CONTROL

Stringent quality control measures are implemented throughout the process to ensure the PET meets industry standards for purity, strength, and other critical properties.

BENEFITS

The PET filaments are then woven or knitted into fabrics using traditional textile manufacturing techniques. These fabrics can be used for a wide range of applications, including:

Sportswear:  ACARP’s recycled PET is used to create high-performance jerseys, fleece jackets, and other sportswear for athletes and active individuals.
Home Textiles:  Carpets, curtains, and upholstery fabrics made from recycled PET offer durability and sustainability for the home environment.

Industrial Applications:  Recycled PET fabrics are also used in industrial applications like filtration membranes and geotextiles.
